In an incredible showdown that shook the world of esports, Gen.G Team South Korea was defeated by a paper REX team in a 3-2 series at the end of VCT Stage 1 grand finals in the Pacific region.

The W-gaming team joyfully rose up to the occasion after their defeat against Gen. G in the VCT Pacific Kickoff event to achieve this victory.

The most critical characters on Sunset were both Jason "F0RS1T3N" Susanto playing as Breach, and Jinggg assuming the role for Raze. Gen. G's push tide was smartly defended by F0rsaken's the Fault Line skill, which gave Jinggg's Raze a real opportunity to pick off her enemies.

The series was leveled on Sunset when PRX's aggressive strategies and the well-coordinated attacks of Gen. G overpowered Gen. G.

Leveraging their momentum, PRX took off to a 6-2 lead on Actors’ workplace. Nevertheless, Gen. G's Kim "t3xture" Na-ra did not give up in turn, closing the gap at no cost.

By Split, Gen. G, the ball thief, made way for her, picking 6-2 on the defensive. Yet PRX did not give up. They fought back relentlessly, reducing the deficit to 7–5 at halftime.
