Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Dana White are engaged in ongoing discussions, expressing their eagerness to face each other in a fight. However, an obstacle preventing the fight from being confirmed is Elon's weight advantage over Zuckerberg. Despite this challenge, sources indicate that the parties involved remain committed to the idea of an Octagon battle, and UFC President Dana White has expressed his willingness to organize the event. The discrepancy in size between Musk and Zuckerberg is currently a matter of concern.
In fighting, size matters, a lot. Elon is 6'1", and reportedly weighs between 185 and 200 lbs. As for the Facebook founder, he's just 5'7", and reportedly weighs around 155 lbs.
Elon Musk holds a notable advantage over Mark Zuckerberg in terms of physical attributes, with a 6-inch height difference and a weight advantage estimated to be around 30 to 45 pounds. This discrepancy in size places Zuckerberg in a lightweight category in comparison to Musk, who would fall into the middleweight or light heavyweight range, representing a difference of 2-3 weight classes.
While exhibition fights often overlook weight classes, such as Floyd Mayweather taking on the much larger Logan Paul, Zuckerberg is understandably cautious about surrendering a significant size advantage to his opponent. Despite the technical possibility of arranging the fight, Mark may have reservations about facing Elon under such circumstances.
“If you’re gonna charge $100 for something, which would probably be the price for this thing, and these guys would raise possibly hundreds of millions of dollars for charity, you want to put on an entertaining card,” White said. “At least when people stay home on Saturday night and turn the TV off, they’re like, ‘Hey, well, we saw some great fights anyway.’
“This is the type of crossover fight that people who traditionally don’t watch fights, women, older women, younger women, you name it, everybody that could care less about a fight, this crosses over to everyone.”
