As the Los Angeles Dodgers swept past the New York Yankees, 4-2, on Monday, Freddie Freeman maintained his blistering run by hitting a home run for the third straight game, giving them a commanding 3-0 lead in the World Series.

Los Angeles pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu got the victory for the Dodgers in Monday night’s 4-2 win over the Cubs which established the team’s stranglehold on the series. American league MVP candidate Aaron Judge is still struggling to hit for power. As for Judge, his batting average against the teams from Los Angeles was a paltry.083 and he is just 1-for-12 after not getting any hits during his three at-bats Monday night. The Yankees will now need their star to come out and shine if they are to overturn the pressure that is mounting.
