Finally the much anticipated fight of Mike Tyson is now set for November 15th after being moved due to a health problem. The fight against Jake Paul, previously scheduled for July 20, was cancelled due to some health issue of the ex-world heavyweight champion.

On May 26, Tyson was supposed to travel from Miami to Los Angeles, but he did not travel because of ulcer complications. The representative for a Hall of Fame boxer informed CNN that Tyson began to feel “nauseous and dizzy” roughly half an hour before the plane’s arrival.

However, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the company behind the event has subsequently confirmed that the fight will take place in November. The bout will go on in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas that has the total seating capacity of 80,000 and is the stadium of the Dallas Cowboys. Due to broadcast rights of Netflix, people around the world would be able to witness this highly anticipated game.

“Our team has worked diligently with all parties involved to reschedule this monumental fight to a date that ensures both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are fully prepared, with equal training time, as well as allowing us to keep the event at AT&T stadium in the midst of the Cowboys season,” Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP, stated in a statement.

To compete for the title, the 57-year-old Tyson is set to return to the ring for the first time since the exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. This is rather remarkably going to be his first professional fight since the year 2005.

A ring threat to “Iron Mike” comes from 30-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

"When Paul vs. Tyson was rescheduled, I knew immediately that I wanted to still fight on Saturday, July 20. Now, as I prepare for my fight against Iron Mike, there’s no better opponent for me than Mike Perry," Paul said in a statement. 

Paul, 27, will continue to box on July 20 in Tampa Florida. Instead of Tyson, he will fight against the MMA star and the champ at the bare-knuckle boxing, Mike Perry.

This is made even more exciting by the fact that the man in question is Paul, who is about to have a fight. His opponent, Mike Perry, has a similar BKFC record at 5-0 with three knockouts. Perry has been fighting in MMA for several years prior to his debut in the UFC in 2016. Having signed for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he gained popularity very quickly.
