Taking on a foot race against a former NFL running back is always ill-advised, particularly when you're a 44-year-old comedian. Kevin Hart acquired this wisdom through a tough experience, which has currently left him using a wheelchair.
Hart mentioned that he experienced the tearing of several abdominal muscles, vividly describing his injuries with intense discomfort. He also pointed out that the incident strongly underscored the fact that he's no longer as youthful and agile as before.
"40-yard dash. Guys, I blew all my s--t. Tore my lower abdomen, my abductors. I don't even know what that is, but I tore them. I tore those too. I can't walk. Sit my ass down. This is 44."
One standout year that etched Ridley's name in NFL history was 2012 when he dazzled with remarkable statistics, amassing 1,263 rushing yards and securing an impressive 12 touchdowns. Hart's unfortunate injury, it would be a formidable task to imagine a race where he would emerge victorious. Following his standout college career at LSU, Ridley embarked on an illustrious eight-season journey in the NFL, with four of those years dedicated to the New England Patriots.
Ridley turned to his Instagram stories to respond to Hart's video.
“I SAW @TOMBRADY DO IT AT YOUR AGE SO I FIGURED YOU HAD THE JOICE TOO BIG BRO!” Ridley wrote, referring to his former New England Patriots teammate. “MY BAD @KEVINHARTFOREAL! HEAL UP AND PEEKP MAKING US ALL LAUGH!”
Challenging someone of that caliber to a race isn't exactly a wise choice, and it's safe to assume that Hart won't repeat that error.
