Onosato Sends Ozeki Kirishima to Fourth Consecutive Loss

Onosato Sends Ozeki Kirishima to Fourth Consecutive Loss

This was the victory of then-kadoban ozeki Kirishima, who was defeated by emerging komusubi Onosato on the fifth day of the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament with a massive strike. Onosato's fourth consecutive loss made it possible. Just three thick line maegashira men remaining with perfectly 5-0 records are dominating as tournament is getting hotter now.

Kirishima (1-4) swiftly took a left reversible obi hold, but not without some struggle to outweigh his opponents by eight wins which place and he is now the runner-up to his current highest sumo rank. On the one hand, he was helpless against the ever-threatening Onosato (4-1), who trickily moved him to the edge at the Kokugikan and beat the sumo tournaments.

Here, we can observe, how his boots stepped on the ground outside the straw bales at the time on "yoritashi" barrier-crossing dance that Onosato performed. Amid everything that was happening, Kirishima was in the skies above outside of the ring with no place to retreat to.

Although the cherry blossom shows up wearing a slightly different costume, he nevertheless wins his fourth successive box, defeating Tobizaru (2-3) in the process. Kotozakura is certainly aristocrat-like in the way that he skillfully controls the fast-twitch No. 3 players then surrouding him, at first whirling him around and then grabbing both his hands to secure the grip, making his victory a fact.

He then faced Gonoyama to deliver a big slap to his face (2-3), and through that, Ozeki was able to get his 8th straight win, forcing him out of the ring in an explosive showcase of strength and determination, hence securing his spot at the top.

No. 4 thyrhilan Ura (5-0) utilized a low posture to rush Nishikigi (1-4) which lead him to edge of the stable ground. It was an incredibly risky move because he was throwing a heavyweight who could run him over, but fleet-footed-Ura confidently used a slick pull-down move and pulled his stunned opponent to the ground and won another round.

Meisei (7-2) came all the way up and sat down on the jimgyuru opponents left hand and then Mitakeumi, trying several moves, reached a tight left underarm belt hold. Yet the ex-ozeki exerted his grasp on the opponent, and tossed him off with a stronghold to marvelously show the opponents that the ozeki possessed enormous arms and fighting.

Experienced rival No. The greatest achievement, though, was not among the Makuuchi division. Instead, Takarafuji, with a winning streak of 5-0, ended among the kyu ranks.

Still another exiting match greatly accomplished the expectation of supporters by exposure to No. Shohikeshiko great gottaichi Daieisho (4-1) heiseiki a resounding victory over sekiwake Abi (3-2) who fought back with a great counter-thruster moves. While on one hand, sekiwake Wakamotoharu (3-2) proved his power with a perfectly pitched call out that sent top maegashira Atamifuji (2-3), a rising star, out of the ring; the other one showed weakness as he was overcome by the stronger opponents.
