Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Binding Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an effective way to enhance the security of your account;
It increases the security of your account by requiring you to input a dynamically generated code for verification during login and withdrawal;


At K8, we strongly encourage our users to bind 2FA to better secure their accounts.


The following steps will guide you on how to configure and troubleshoot 2FA issues:

 

? Log in to your K8 account and navigate to the settings page.

? Find the "Activate 2FA" option in the settings page.

 

? Install a two-factor authentication app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.

 

? Scan the QR code or manually enter the recovery code using the app.

 

? Save the recovery code of the authenticator and input the verification code. Click the "Save" button.

 

? Congratulations! Your 2FA has been successfully activated.

 

If you encounter any issues during while setting up 2FA, please try the following solutions:

  • Clear cache and cookies

  • Switch to a different two-factor authentication app, such as Google Authenticator instead of Authy

  • Synchronize the time in the app

  • Disable ad blocker

  • Install an authentication extension on your browser

  • Switch to a different browser

  • Try using 2FA in incognito mode.
