In an address to the nation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a grave warning to Hamas that though Israel did not initiate the current conflict, it will decisively finish it.

Over 2,300 Israelis have been injured and 700 killed in Hamas' strikes. Netanyahu accused Hamas of horrifying attacks, including massacring civilians and burning children alive.
Netanyahu compared Hamas to ISIS, calling on "forces of civilization" worldwide to unite and support Israel in defeating them. He thanked President Biden and other global leaders for their backing.
The Israeli leader asserted that by attacking Israel, Hamas has made a historic mistake that will exact a severe price remembered for decades. The Israeli military is now going on the offense with unmatched force.
Meanwhile, Hamas has threatened to execute civilian hostages without warning if Israel strikes Gaza targets. The militant group claims to hold over 100 hostages including Israeli soldiers.
Netanyahu remains resolute that Israel did not initiate but will decisively conclude this war forced upon it by Hamas' aggression. Israel is fighting for all countries opposing such extremism, he affirmed.
