Chaos Crew 2 - Slot Review

Chaos Crew 2 - Slot Review

If you've been craving more chaos on the reels since the original Chaos Crew slot, you're in for a treat. Developer Hacksaw Gaming is back with Chaos Crew 2, and it's bigger, bolder, and even more chaotic than its predecessor.

Graphics and Atmosphere

Chaos Crew 2 maintains the distinctive, neon-graffiti-covered atmosphere that made the original game stand out. The graphics have been tweaked, but the dark, back-alley vibe remains intact. Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull, the menacing symbols, make a return not only on the reels but also in their visual presence on either side of the gaming grid. The soundtrack complements the mood, shifting from eerie to energetic as the gameplay intensifies.

Gameplay

Chaos Crew 2 retains the 5x5 gaming panel but offers 19 fixed paylines instead of 15. It's a highly volatile game, although volatility can be altered when purchasing features. The default RTP stands at 96.27%, and players can choose stakes ranging from 10 p/c to £/€100, with higher max bets available at some casinos.

The game introduces a new set of pay symbols, including hearts, faces, wings, and more. Winning combinations pay from left to right, with 5 of a kind offering rewards of 2 to 10 times the bet.

Features

Players familiar with the original Chaos Crew will find themselves at home with Chaos Crew 2's gameplay and features, albeit with more excitement. Here's a breakdown:

Epic Drop: This feature can trigger randomly at the start of each base game spin, transitioning the game into the bonus round, where multiplier symbols from the bonus are awarded.

Cranky Cat: This wild multiplier symbol can multiply any win it's part of, with values ranging from x2 to x20. Multiple Cranky Cats can land to multiply their values together.

Bonus Round: Landing 3 scatter symbols in the base game triggers the bonus round. Here, only non-paying symbols and multiplier scatters appear. Players receive 3 spins, which reset when a multiplier symbol hits. Multipliers accumulate, leading to potentially significant rewards.

Super Bonus: Triggered by landing 4 scatters, the Super Bonus is similar to the regular bonus round but guarantees at least 7 multiplier symbols on the first spin.

Best of Bonus: When 3 scatters and a Best of Bonus scatter symbol appear, this feature activates, offering 3 bonus rounds played consecutively. The best result among them is awarded at the end.

Best of Super Bonus: Landing 4 scatters and a Best of Bonus scatter initiates this feature, which provides 3 super bonus rounds in succession, with the best result awarded at the end.

Feature Buy: Players can buy various features, including BonusHunt FeatureSpins, Epic Drop FeatureSpins, Bonus, Super Bonus, Best of Bonus, and Best of Super Bonus.

Verdict

Chaos Crew 2 is an expansion of its predecessor, offering more features and even greater potential for thrills. While the base game can be a grind at times, the Epic Drop feature balances things out. The four bonus rounds add excitement, and the game's maximum win potential of 20,000x the bet is impressive. Whether you prefer to trigger bonuses organically or buy your way in, Chaos Crew 2 offers an extended and wilder gaming experience, perfect for those who seek chaos on the reels.
