milegate has declared that Crossfire, its first-person shooter game, has been officially chosen to participate in the esteemed Smilegate revealed that its first-person shooter game known as Crossfire will be representing the company in the select Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 in Saudi Arabia.
The EWC is the largest international multisport e-sports event and it is organised by the EWC Federation of Saudi Arabia. While 18 events are as diverse as gaming genres: combat, RTS, battle royale, FPS, MOBA, the given competition allows to showcase talents globally to the maximum. Crossfire has indeed signed for a term deal with the EWC Federation which will ensure Crossfire voluntarily participate into the following year. This is an important achievement. Although EWC 2025 is planned for next summer, the event will take place in the spectacular city of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
Crossfire in particular has become one of the largest and most played games of the China and the Asia-Pacific, as it is constantly growing its fan base of loyal players, Crossfire Federation Chief Game Officer Fabian Scheuermann praised the game’s global success.
