Max Verstappen, the 2021 world champion suffered a dramatic engine failure on the pits during practice which lasted only a few laps and as teams raced side by side in what is the last practice session before qualifying for the sprint race that will happen later on Friday. The same happened to Verstappen’s vehicle which was quickly restarted by the crew once it was returned to the pits and the driver can complete the rest of the session without any further issues.
