U.S. Women’s National Team to Host Japan, Australia, and Colombia in 2025 SheBelieves Cup

U.S. Women’s National Team to Host Japan, Australia, and Colombia in 2025 SheBelieves Cup

The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) will host Japan, Australia, and Colombia in the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, U.S. The 10th edition of the prestigious tournament will feature a round-robin format, with the teams playing six matches over three days. Points will decide the winner, with goal differential, most goals, and head-to-head results used as tiebreakers.

The SheBelieves Cup, which the U.S. women have dominated with five consecutive titles, will serve as an important preparation for the team as they look ahead to the 2027 Women’s World Cup qualification campaign. This will be the first time the U.S. women play at home since their victory in the 2024 tournament, as they continue to build for future competitions.

“We’re excited to play against such talented teams, and the SheBelieves Cup always delivers competitive games,” said U.S. head coach Emma Hayes. “These matches will provide valuable experience as we prepare for the next World Cup qualification cycle.”

The opening matches will kick off on February 20, 2025, in Houston, where the U.S. will face Colombia, and Australia will take on Japan. The tournament will continue with matches in Glendale, Arizona, and San Diego, concluding on February 26. Each match will showcase some of the world’s top talent, with all four teams coming off successful campaigns in recent World Cup and Olympic tournaments.
