Cavaliers End Thunder's 15-Game Streak, Extend Own 11-Game Run to 32-4

Cavaliers End Thunder's 15-Game Streak, Extend Own 11-Game Run to 32-4

Oklahoma City Thunder faced Cleveland Cavaliers and the later won the match by 129-122.

Throughout the entire game, both sides differentiated themselves as two of the top talents in the league in terms of performance. The match played out like a gloriously tactical and strategic game of chess in which neither team coughs up a large lead without the other team immediately responding.

This year’s NBA championship attacked the league’s top defense as the championship’s best offense scored as many points throughout the match It was not surprising if these two faced up in the near future since the match up will be repeated in less than a week.

Two of the strongest teams this year Trail Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers are meeting now and I am gradually gaining confidence that we will see them face off in NBA finals in June. Both teams obviously feel like the “perfect” teams in many ways because the latter had almost dominated every single aspect of the game. It is quite tempting to think of a seven-game series being set for them since both teams appear to have no conspicuous flaws.

No one can predetermine how a series between these two great teams will turn out to be. I do not see any other two people getting into the finals because they are arguably two of the best players and balance each other very well. While Cleveland and Oklahoma City had potential of facing up challenging like New York, Boston, Memphis and Houston, these two are far better and capable of doing anything necessary to ensure that they reach the finals.

Considering how complete the Oklahoma City Thunder and Cleveland Cavaliers are, I anticipate that they will put up the hardest fight imaginable for everyone, including one another. Every match is a struggle of elite capabilities because these teams are designed to adapt and prevail. You won't see these two heavyweights again until the 2025 NBA Finals, which is a match that fans will probably be looking forward to. They will square off again on January 16th in Oklahoma City.

With both teams shooting above 50% on 90 field goal attempts, this game was a perfect example of the Cavaliers' hallmark style. With one of their best shooting performances of the season, the Thunder, who were without Alex Caruso and Chet Holmgren, came very close to closing the distance. However, the Cavaliers' offense, supported by the enthusiasm of their home fans, continued to dominate despite their efforts.
